Don’t let that be you.

When you mark an item “donate” at Wee Trade… this When you mark an item “donate” at Wee Trade… this is where it goes.

This week Amanda Putnam from Western Carolina Rescue Ministries loaded up clothing for their closet, where it will serve men and women in our community who are rebuilding their lives after homelessness, addiction, and crisis.

Western Carolina Rescue Ministries serves Western North Carolina, meeting people at their point of need and walking with them toward stability and restoration. The clothing you donated will not sit in a pile for a weekend. It will be worn. Used. Needed. For months to come.

This season alone, donations went to 32 local nonprofits across Asheville, Buncombe County, Henderson County, Madison County and beyond — plus more than 40 foster families who shopped directly from our donation day inventory.

That’s the heart behind Wee Trade Gives Back.

If you donated — thank you. Truly. You are part of something much bigger than a consignment event.

If you didn’t donate this season, you can mark items as “donate” next time and know they are going straight into the hands of families and ministries serving Western North Carolina. You’ll receive a donation report in your account for tax purposes for every item you marked donated.

We are more than racks and registers. We are community infrastructure.

When our consignors choose to donate their unsold items, those items stay right here in our community and go straight to families who need them most.

Verner Center for Early Learning is one of our longtime partners in Asheville, and the impact of your generosity reaches far beyond our sale weekend. It supports children. It supports working parents. It strengthens families across Western North Carolina.

If you’ve ever wondered whether clicking “donate” makes a difference, it does. Every single season.

Thank you to our consignors for choosing generosity and for being part of something bigger than a sale.

Some of the smallest babies carry the biggest stor Some of the smallest babies carry the biggest stories.

Today for Wee Trade Gives Back, we had the privilege of speaking with the team at Mission Hospital NICU about how donations from Wee Trade support families with critically ill and premature babies. When a child is born early or faces serious medical challenges, life shifts overnight. Parents are living at the hospital. Siblings are adjusting. Nothing feels normal.

Year-round, Wee Trade donations help ease that burden. Clothing. Essentials. Practical support during moments that are anything but easy.

This is a critical part of our mission. Sustainability matters. Community matters. Showing up for families in Western North Carolina matters.

We are so proud to be part of that story.

Generosity in action. Right now we’re in the midd Generosity in action.

Right now we’re in the middle of Donation Day at Wee Trade, and this is the part that matters so much.

I just had the chance to interview The Bear Closet in Haywood County, run by three local Methodist churches, who regularly receive donations from our sale. These items don’t just sit in bins. They clothe children. They support families. They meet real needs in our Western North Carolina community.

When consigners choose to donate their unsold items, it turns into something bigger than a sale. It becomes sustainability. It becomes local impact. It becomes community care.

This is Wee Trade Gives Back in real time.

Thank you for tagging, shopping, and choosing generosity.

Because this is where your unsold items turn into something bigger.

Every season, Wee Trade consigners choose generosity. Today we had the chance to hear directly from RHA Health Services about how these donations support individuals across Western North Carolina all year long. Not just this week. Not just during a crisis. Year-round.

When you choose to donate, you’re choosing sustainability. You’re keeping items out of landfills. You’re supporting families. You’re strengthening our WNC community in a real, tangible way.

This is what Wee Trade Gives Back is all about.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving generously.
