ABCCM Transformation Village

Mission: Provides up to 100 beds of transitional housing for homeless women, mothers with children, and Veterans. At Transformation Village, lives are transformed through counseling, training for living wage employment, and help with reintegration into the community.

Abiding Hope, Inc

Mission: A Christ-centered outreach ministry striving to empower women and their families challenged by pregnancy and parenting. Serves women of all ages, fathers, and children with pregnancy needs and supplies, offers classes, pregnancy loss resources, and connects with community resources.

Antioch Baptist Church

Mission: Serves the community of Barnardsville and Weaverville by providing school supplies, clothes, Christmas gifts, and assistance for people from newborns to the elderly.

Art of Dance Studio

Mission: A nonprofit dance studio serving children of all backgrounds and financial statuses. We work to make dance classes achievable for everyone, offering scholarships and borrowed shoes if needed. Our passion is to reach the entire community and inspire them to dance.

Babies Need Bottoms Diaper Bank

Mission: Improves the lives of babies, toddlers, and parents in Western North Carolina through diaper distribution, community awareness, and partnerships.

Beacon of Hope

Mission: Operates a donation-based thrift store providing a low-cost retail alternative and assisting families in need with emergency clothing and household items. Revenue helps cover operating expenses, and Beacon provides food assistance to roughly 1,000 low-income families each month in Madison and surrounding counties.

Mission: Serves the county with books and literacy material for students, future students, and their families.

Caring for Children/Eckerd

Mission: Provides emergency care to children removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Now part of Eckerd Connects, offering foster care, adoption, workforce development, aid for the homeless, and transitional services for youth.

Mission: Serves children and families impacted by the child welfare system.

Mission: Provides supplies for young mothers in the area for their babies, including clothing, diapers, wipes, and other necessities except for food and toys.

Mission: A nonprofit organization committed to strengthening foster and kinship families through support, training, public awareness, communication, and advocacy, aiming to nurture child safety, well-being, and stability.

Mission: “The Creek Boutique” provides clothing for every family member in a loving environment, putting the Gospel message into action throughout the local community.

Recovery Ventures Corporation

Mission: A licensed long-term residential treatment center for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Offers treatment at no cost in a therapeutic community setting, providing necessities through donations.

Snow Hill United Methodist Church BEAR Loan Closet

Mission: Loans baby equipment and provides resources to families with children from newborn to size 6T in Buncombe and surrounding counties who are in need.

The Center for Women

Mission: A Christian medical facility providing free services such as pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasound, and confidential counseling to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies, offering compassionate care and information for informed decisions.
